Ashley deLalla, DPT, NCPT
Ashley deLalla is a native of Virginia Beach and like her colleagues, also graduated from First Colonial High School. She went on to receive her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary in 2008. Go tribe! She then continued on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the School of Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, in 2011. Her focus on continuing education has been on kinesiotaping, manual techniques of cervical/thoracic spine, lower extremity, and sacroiliac joint, dance rehabilitation, and sports sideline management. Ashley enjoys working with athletes ranging from young adolescents to weekend warriors and even those young at heart. She has even spent time working on injury prevention to local dance studios as well as touring Broadway shows.
While in PT school, Ashley developed a love for Pilates and completed her Comprehensive training in Pilates for Rehabilitation from Polestar Pilates in 2014. She enjoys integrating the Pilates method in rehabilitation. Her focus on Pilates and rehabilitation continuing education has been on treating low back pain, working with children and teens, the use of the CoreAlign in treatment, and the use of supporting the Schroth method with Pilates in treating scoliosis.
In her spare time, you can find her running after her two little children or her chocolate Labrador Retriever!
